About us and our truffle hunting with dogs

A family dog and a truffle dog at the same time?
We quickly realized that both are possible. That’s how our journey into truffle hunting with dogs began.

Back then, we never would have thought that Maggi would one day become a truffle dog. When he arrived, it wasn’t just a new chapter for us—it also sparked our passion for truffle hunting. Maggi opened up a whole new world to us, and that is exactly how our passion project was born.

Professionally, we work in completely different fields. One of us works as a medical secretary and the other as an IT specialist. But our free time is all about truffle hunting. With dedication, energy, and passion, we’re out in the forest and always learning more.

Our journey began with a special moment. Our first dog holiday took us to Alba in Italy—of course including a truffle tour. That experience was the starting signal for our adventure in the world of truffles. Back in Switzerland, we built up the knowledge through books, videos, and lots of practice to train Maggi as a truffle dog ourselves. And that’s how it all began: from our first finds, to new contacts in the mushroom community, all the way to becoming members of the Swiss Truffle Association.

Today, dog dad and Maggi go truffle hunting together, discover new spots, and gain experience right in the forest. At the same time, this is where our content, tours, and videos come from. Dog mom takes care of everything around it: from lovingly packing your orders and managing our social media channels to the organization and structure behind the scenes.

That’s how we combine our passion for truffle hunting with the wish to pass on our knowledge and let you be part of this special world.
