Truffle Tour

Join us for an approximately 2-hour truffle tour. During the tour, we’ll show you everything about truffles and truffle hunting. You’ll learn interesting facts about truffle fungi, suitable host trees, typical indicator plants, and different truffle species. Together with Maggi, we’ll actively search for truffles and, with a bit of luck, experience the moment of discovery right there in the forest. The focus is on the shared experience and hands-on insight into truffle hunting. The tour is individually tailored and adapts to current conditions in nature. If you bring your dog, they’re welcome to help out. This way, you’ll see right away if your dog has a talent for truffle hunting. The tour takes place in the Bern region and lasts approximately 2 hours. The exact meeting point will be announced in advance.

The tour runs with a minimum of 4 adults. The tour is primarily aimed at adults, and we deliberately keep the group size small so that truffle hunting with Maggi works optimally. Children up to 13 years old can join for free if there are enough available spots and should be specified during checkout.
Cancellations are free of charge up to 72 hours before the tour starts via email to info@maggis-trueffel.ch.
