Terms of Service – Maggi’s Trüffel App

  1. Scope

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the “Trüffel Buddy” app and all associated services, particularly the “Moments” community feature and “Community Forum.”

  1. Registration

An account is required to use the community features. You are responsible for providing accurate information during registration and keeping your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activities that occur through your account.

  1. User Content (Community / Moments)

The app allows users to share photos, text, and reactions with the community (“Moments”).

You retain the copyright to your content, but you grant Maggi’s Trüffel the right to display and moderate it within the app.

By uploading content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that the content does not violate these Terms of Service.

  1. Prohibited Content and Conduct

We have zero tolerance for inappropriate content or abusive behavior.

The following content and behaviors are expressly prohibited:

  • Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit content
  • Depictions of violence or incitement to violence
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or insults based on origin, gender, religion, nationality, or other characteristics
  • Harassment, threats, or bullying of other users
  • Spam, advertising, or commercial content without permission
  • Content that violates applicable law (e.g., copyright, data protection)
  • False identities or impersonating another person
  • Content that endangers minors
  1. Reporting Content

Users can report inappropriate content directly in the app. To do so, tap the menu (“•••”) on a post and select “Report content.”

Reported content will be reviewed by the provider within 24 hours. In the event of a violation of these Terms of Service, the content will be removed and the responsible user may be permanently banned.

  1. Blocking Users

Any user can block other users via the menu of a post (“Block user”). Blocked users are immediately removed from your feed. The provider is informed of every block and can take appropriate action.

  1. Moderation and Consequences

The provider reserves the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these Terms of Service without prior notice
  • Temporarily suspend or permanently delete user accounts
  • Report violations to the relevant authorities if necessary

Reports are processed within 24 hours.

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy at: maggis-trueffel.ch/datenschutz

  1. Disclaimer

The provider is not liable for content published by users. The information contained in the course and the app (e.g., regarding truffle hunting) is no substitute for professional advice. Use of the app is at your own risk.

  1. Changes

The provider reserves the right to adjust these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be informed of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
